Selected Multimedia, Hypermedia, Hypertext Documents
An attempt to break away from the page metaphor. The effort
was designed to create a sense of rear view projected image. Lens glare gives
a strong sense of projected image. Sound of slides being moved into and out of
the projector further enhances the sensation.
One
of five early interfaces I designed and tested in 1995. This metaphor is an operators'
panel. This interface, tested against the five others, was rated best.
Once the students had studied the options and selected their favorites,
I designed this final form and produced about 1750 pages in a set of instructional
modules for Mechanical Engineering Students. This is part of a two-year
test of how multimedia and hypermedia can be used in adult education.
This was an experiment in how a "Specifications HyperModule might be designed.
The interface was sunlight reflecting off of painted metal.
Part of a $293K project, this hypertext document is meant to suppliment a
Native American literature class. The work presents students with a collection
of European myths that the students can compare to a collection of Native American
myths as the students read a series of recommended novels.

This was one of a collection of ten books I produced for the University
of Puget Sound. The collection was awarded "Best Complete Package"
by the International Association of Paper Manufacturers.
The art in this work is completely drawn by hand, using traditional graphics
tools.
This was done for a Christmas card for Weyerhaeuser Corporation.
This was done as a logo for a company that manufacturers pipe organs.
